Good point. But sometimes you can miss something that got cut and was needed to explain something later. Then it leaves a spot where it doesn’t make sense to the reader. Usually catch those though.
I like it. I would never be presumptuous enough to suggest revisions to your story. If you change it according to the desires or whims of others then it is not truly your story. It's good the way it is.
